How
much will it cost us to dispose of waste plasterboard
to landfill in 2005?
Since 16th of July 2005 only
1 landfill site in England and Wales (in Hull) has
been licensed and is accepting high sulphate bearing waste (plasterboard).
The consequence of this reduction in the number of
disposal sites is to significantly increase the
landfill disposal costs and transport costs . The waste plasterboard disposal
issue is analogous to current issues surrounding the
disposal of asbestos. |

costs for disposal of waste plasterboard to landfill
are affected by a number of variables, however the overriding
principle holds true that: waste plasterboard disposal
